Welcome to a segment where we embrace your addiction shamelessly. We understand that you might even consider taking out a second mortgage on your house just to keep expanding your collection in a desperate attempt to fill the void deep within your soul. It’s time to succumb to your intrusive thoughts and admire some beautifully crafted LPs that have recently (or not) hit the shelves. I’m not sponsored by any of these bands, labels, or promoters. However, if you’re open to business discussions, let’s talk! After all, all principles bow down before the almighty dollar. Shall we dive in?

Replicant – Infinite Mortality: Yes, it’s been a while since this album hit the shelves, but not so long since this LP came out. Just look at it—grotesque in all the right ways. The artsy pattern, predominantly blue, creates the illusion of six more colors. Replicant sounds like getting crushed by a black hole, and the LP perfectly reflects that intensity. It’s a beautiful LP complementing an outstanding album (see the post here, so don’t sue me, Transcending Obscurity!). You want it, right? Click here!

Ulcerate – Cutting the Throat of God: We’ve already showered Ulcerate with praise, but this album also features a haunting LP design. Its unsettling red evokes the look of coagulated blood (obviously!). There’s not much to guess here, Ulcerate means business as usual. Simple yet mysterious. Many of you already have your copy, but none of you bastards answered my call, so you’ll have to settle for this picture. Click here!

Opeth – Orchid: I’m cheating here—this isn’t new, but it’s still awesome. Besides, I wanted to give a shout-out to one of our followers, Sgt.Barber, who has a beautiful new collection. In it, we have this special edition of Orchid. It’s solid purple with a marble-like look, a classic design with no pretensions, fitting for an iconic album that you might love or hate, but it’s part of our history. You’ll have a hard time finding a copy since there are only 1,000 out there. However, ask the barber—maybe they can help you out. Otherwise, you can only click here for now!
There you have it! Three new LPs. Some are attainable, while others might cost you an arm and a leg. But isn’t that why you collect albums? Because deep down, you know it’s impossible to catch them all, and the eternal search and longing give meaning to your harsh existence. Or maybe you’re obsessed with completing things due to some unresolved childhood issues. Either way, I’m all ears! Share your reasons here or on social media. Until next time!
