IDŌL – Exciō: The Goth Rock duo continues to puzzle us with their high-quality production, catchy choruses, and immersive atmosphere that makes me question why I didn’t hand this one to Vicky to review. It’s radio-friendly and accessible, yet it still carries that mysterious edge reminiscent of the golden era of ‘90s Gothic music. If Cradle of Filth feels too over the top for you, IDŌL might be the lighter alternative you’ve been looking for — melancholic, elegant, and modern, without losing its dark touch. Click here!

Ava Toton – Phoenix: At MER Industries, we believe in the youth, and Ava proves there’s still a promising future for Metal. Melodic, complex, and at times hostile, this track blends multiple subgenres in ways I don’t often hear. I really hope Ava gets to release a full album soon — we’d be first in line to review it. Of course, there’s still room for refinement; this is early work, after all. But the foundation is strong, and with more experience, her music will only become more captivating. Click here!

Henry van der Zwan – Majestic Power: This marks the second time we’ve featured a Christian Metal artist, and while some of you might roll your eyes, we’re here to judge the music, not beliefs (take that to X). This is old-school Heavy Metal that pays homage to Judas Priest and Stryper. If not for the explicitly devotional lyrics, you’d think it was another solid retro-Metal banger. Fans of classic Metal nostalgia will find plenty to enjoy here — and if you’re curious about a spiritual twist on the genre, Henry has you covered. Click here!

WolvenThrone – The Stars Still Whisper Your Name: Now this one is my jam! Abrasive, savage, and crushing Black Metal that draws influence from Mental Cruelty, but with an even bleaker edge. It’s no surprise experienced musicians are behind this project — I couldn’t help myself and ended up listening to the entire EP. It’s devastating in all the right ways and leaves you craving a full-length release. Expect ferocious blastbeats and an atmosphere as cold as it is powerful. Click here!

Myrmann – Roots: Let’s return to Power and Heavy Metal, this time with a Swedish/Icelandic flavor. Catchy, dramatic, and fun are the best words to describe this track. It leans more into pure Power Metal than nostalgia-driven Heavy Metal, occasionally brushing up against Melodic Death territory — but with clean, heartfelt vocals that elevate it. Elyna would absolutely back this one. It might be too safe for some listeners, but sometimes, comfort is exactly what we need in this gloomy world. Click here!

Rot Fester – Death row: This project is true kvlt royalty, as one of the first EPs I ever reviewed. The band continues to deliver relentless, unapologetic Swedish Death Metal in the vein of Feral, Entombed, and Paganizer. The production is equally brutal and unrestrained, capturing that raw, chainsaw-driven energy we love from the old school. Perfectly savage stuff to celebrate Halloween — or to scare the neighbors any other day of the year. Click here!
