Since I’m the youngest member here, it seemed fit to try and include as many genres as humanly possible. Also, this is like the third variant of my incredible list, so please be patient. Just remember, the correct question is never “oh, what did Vicky include in her list?”, it’s “what didn’t she include?”… Here it goes, the long overdue list, featuring dramas, friends, and spoilers:

I decided to eventually stop procrastinating, and finally get to writing this article, and actually give you what you guys have been asking for for a while, a top best artworks made by a person lacking in any sort of drawing skills whatsoever. But, I make up for that with my writing skills, you have to give me credit for it. Without any further do, here are the three albums I really liked, artwork-wise:

Before our calendars even think about telling us that we have entered the realm of December, I think we need a top 10 songs that have been released throughout 2025 just to motivate us. Now these tracks have been carefully selected by yours truly after spending 11 months listening to almost every single new material that Spotify could provide in the Rock/Metal domain, as well as going to different shows in my beloved homeland.

I decided to share wisdom on the Doom Metal phenomenon after being asked to do so by some friends who have started listening to this style of Dark Metal and couldn’t find any good bands except for My Dying Bride – according to them, of course.

Once upon a time, the little Stargazer was in the car with his dad. They were listening to the radio and a rock song came on. I could not remember its title or the artist for the life of me (no Shazam back then, alas), but I will never forget the exact moment when the guitar solo came on.

To make this introduction brief, I am just going to say that I realised these days that the ’90s as a decade had marvelous music, both Rock, and in Metal. Given that there were so many great albums released during that time, I’ve decided to make a short list containing five of my personal favorites – that are also sometimes overlooked. Let’s dig into these five underrated masterpieces.

Happy New Year, kids! I can’t think of a better way to start the year than by wrapping up our 2024 Catto Awards (yes, I think I’ll name them that way). Avant-Garde Metal is probably the hardest genre to define. It can be everything and nothing at the same time. However, I’d briefly sum it up as the Metal subgenre that makes us all say, “What the fudge? Is this Metal or a college art project?” Anyway, let’s finish this.
