Here we go again. We survived another week of painful existence only to see what random stuff the deep underground wants to throw at us. This week feels a bit different, or at least I think so, because I bring you heavy elements—music so hostile and violent that I’m sure many of you will let this one pass. But hey, the people who love pure brutality need representation, too.
Welcome back to another edition of our favorite section of the week: True Kvlt, where you send us your dungeon tapes, and we provide mostly constructive feedback—plus a few bad jokes to keep the audience engaged. Nothing too wild; after all, if you want to make it in the music world, you need to be ready to take a few punches from nameless creatures on the internet. Let’s dive in!
It’s Sunday again, which means it’s time to shine a spotlight on our beloved followers and friends who send us their creations every week. We could be like any other site and toss these submissions in the trash, but we (perhaps naively) believe in your capacity to surprise us. It’s that time of the week when we raid the fridge for whatever leftovers we can find—because who wants to cook a lot on a Sunday? You do? Well, respect, I’ll give you that. But this time is different. I’m not alone in this section—Pegah has decided to join in and bring another band to your tearful eyes. So, here we have this week’s lucky picks:

We have bands from all over the Metal spectrum—Death, Black, Doom, even a Symphonic band. You can’t complain there’s no representation at MER. Let’s go!

Even if all they get is disdain, they keep going. And honestly, having edgy opinions that a handful of people read on the internet is enough to keep my sad hope alive. I just had to wait until there was enough material and the release schedule had slowed down a bit, but don’t think I’d forgotten about you, my dear readers and musicians hungry for new sounds.
