There’s no time! So, let’s go!

Aglasio – Trinitarian: It’s not common for the words Prog, fun, and short to end up in the same sentence, but that’s precisely the case with this track. Aglasio shows that writing relatively complex music doesn’t mean sacrificing groove. Besides, how often do you get something proggy with dirty production? That’s another oddity we couldn’t just ignore. If anything, I hope the band takes a few more risks in the future and gives us one of those long, epic tracks half of you hate and the other half of us love. Click here!

Abel Wolf – Suburbia: Instrumental Metal has become the signature soundtrack of oppressive urban environments, yet this track focuses more on the melancholy and longing those environments can create. Yes, in some ways it plays a bit safe, but it’s still an engaging listen—especially when you’re sick of commuting every day like a corporate slave. Abel Wolf delivers some tunes that shred just enough to impress, but not enough to bore you. Click here!

Rivers Collide – Aunar: Hostile and raw, this track leans into a Sylosis vibe but simplifies some of the guitar work. It centers more on the aggression and heaviness this style of Metal can bring. Sure, I was left a little curious about what might happen if the band risked being more technical, but those visceral vocals more than compensated for any potential lack of detail. So maybe this is heavy Groove Metal? Am I implying Groove isn’t really heavy? Yes, I’ve been in the pit too long, I know. Click here!

Transgalactica – Libera Anthem: This is much softer than what we usually cover in this section. It’s almost too relaxing. However, what caught my attention was how much effort clearly went into the lyrics. You might disagree with the message or the AI in the video, but it’s not every day that we get something philosophical wrapped in enjoyable music. It’s a clear case of music serving the story, and sometimes we do lose that perspective in our endless quest for brutal riffs. Click here!

The Breaching Experiment – Morphocide: Continuing the intellectual line, we have a band that sounds as if Satyricon became a sociology professor tired of your mediocre essays. They decided to let it all out in this brutal display of fury and political commentary. There’s some rawness in the production, but that only adds to the charm here. I’m just happy that, for once, we get some extreme Metal with real guts in terms of lyrics. Things have been feeling too safe lately in that respect. Click here!
Alright, we’re done for this week! See you later, and don’t forget to follow us here!
