Avaland – Face The Eternal: Another familiar face. You know what to expect—intense choruses, catchy riffs, nothing too compromising, just a simple investment that won’t demand much of your attention. Yet, if you like Heavy/Power, that’s what you should expect again.
Angry Freak – Onwards: More Punk/Rock by people who can actually play their instruments. There’s a commercial vibe to what’s going on here as many times before, but the guitar work stands out as way more elaborate than you’d expect from something this light.
NihiliatVoid – Funeral With No Name: Now, this name fits the track well. It sounds like getting slowly devoured by the most crippling anxiety you could feel. These guys have some real talent for chaos, and if you like your music challenging, you should definitely not let this one pass.
Direwolf – Hunted: For those of you with a more old school taste and substantial amounts of nostalgia, this is for you. It’s not what we usually review here, but that’s the whole point, right? Getting to experience something as retro as this is interesting, to say the least.
Visions of Morpheus – I Will Arise: Machines. Well, this is what comes to my mind when I get bombed with proggy riffs and a futuristic atmosphere, though in a way it reminds me a lot of 90s Prog. Anyway, the track offers something complex, but without losing its more accessible side.
Chris Eternalis – Back to Hell: Core stuff. You know what to expect—brutal growling, breakdowns that can send you to the hospital, and clean vocals that make you question your taste, because the song suddenly becomes easy to listen to. It’s probably the most direct track of today.
Tapuia – Ember To Ashes: Ultra modern and tight, this Death Metal beatdown is pretty decent, and I think those of you who like to get your necks destroyed could appreciate its technicality, but most of all its utter heaviness and aggression. Not bad at all.
Rick J. Alvarez – Fury: Yes, shredding to the end of the world. Nothing too soft, nothing too brutal. We get enough virtuosity and groove to keep things interesting for a bit longer than you’d expect. So give it a try, and prepare for something that feels kind of war.
