Indonesia – Metal Eclipse Reviews

Vertiginous – Incessant Affliction

Thechopstickdrummer

I’m back, I’m back. Yeah, yeah, I get it. What other way to punish myself for my absence than to listen to half an hour of punishing, brutal death metal shipped to me all the way from Jakarta, Indonesia? Well, the music being from abroad is actually a push for me to get back to Metal Eclipse Reviewin’. Vertiginous is the lucky band to break my brutal death metal fast; their second record, Incessant Affliction, hopefully leaving me like the unfortunate guy in the bottom-left corner of the album cover: stabbed in the back and haunted by a thousand souls. Either that, or impressed. We’ll see.

Multiwomb – Anatomy of Gorelust

Metalcatto

Sometimes this Metal reviewing gig makes me wonder what I did to deserve this. When a band named Multiwomb comes in with an album titled Anatomy of Gorelust, it’s entirely my fault if I decide to dive into something that’s obviously not going to sound like a kid’s Sunday cartoon. In fact, this album has everything to make more than one person lose their appetite or burst out laughing at the sheer over-the-top madness contained within. Let’s go.

Incinerated – The Epitome of Transgression

Metalcatto

Metal is full of colorful and almost quirky band names. Incinerated isn’t one of those. If anything, this Indonesian band means business with its proposal. Also, have we noticed how Indonesia has become an extreme Metal powerhouse in the last decade? I wouldn’t be surprised if it hasn’t already become Asia’s biggest producer, but I digress. Time to focus on Epitome of Transgression.
