Stop all the flights, traffic lights, and trash trucks, because the mightiest Post-Metal band in Sweden is back! The last time Cult of Luna released an album below 4/5, MP3s were still a thing. The only real question is whether In the Shadow of Your Shadow will end up living in the band’s shadow. I know, horrible metaphor, but you know what I mean. Also, make sure to check out my Cult of Luna top lists here and here to get ready! Let’s get going!

We keep approaching the top. As with any Cult of Luna album, that means a huge amount of drama, tension, and long sections. You’ll probably disagree with me, but isn’t that the whole point?

I’ve been waiting forever to do this. Cult of Luna is without a doubt my favorite Post-Metal band. It’s like Neurosis but with better vocals and less abuse. So that’s good for you people who care about morals and stuff. I should also mention this top will include the band’s collaboration with Julie Christmas. I hope you can live with that. Anyway, let’s start.
